This stunning vintage Persian Qashqai rug is a captivating example of traditional tribal artistry, hand-knotted from pure wool by skilled nomadic weavers. Its rich madder-red field is centred by three dramatic stepped medallions in deep navy, each decorated with delicate floral forms and symbolic motifs.

Hundreds of tiny rosettes and stylised plants fill the surrounding field, creating remarkable movement, texture and visual depth. Bold ivory zigzag outlines frame the central composition, while accents of turquoise, sky blue, coral and warm beige bring freshness and contrast to the vibrant palette. Finely patterned geometric borders complete the design with balance and definition.

The softly aged colours, subtle irregularities and natural woollen texture reflect the individuality of its maker and give the rug an authentic vintage character.
