Shop Vintage Rugs specialise in handmade carpets, kilims, and textile weaves. Our collection includes the highest eminence of vintage, traditional, revival and modern articles.

Established in London in 1963 by our late father, Mr I.A.Khan, a distinguished authority on Persian rugs, started this conglomerate from Baker street and branched out to New Bond Street & Old Bond Street later on. However, the journey to success didn't stop here as in the seventies, we had business spread to the U.S as well, and in the eighties, considering the dire need of our clients, we also shaped business in the Middle East.

We have carried our comprehensive and extensive knowledge of handmade rugs from one generation to the next for over five decades. However, the passion for collecting some of the masterpieces by travelling around made us stand out on the list of a few passionate carpet collectors with a wide array of premium carpets and rugs.

Our website features some of our premium collection rugs, including antique and vintage carpets from Europe, Persia, Turkey, Caucasus, & South Asia.

My Grandmother from Finland's rug comes home

I was overjoyed as was my family in the U.S. to find this long lost rya rug again. We loved it hanging on her farmhouse wall and when she died it somehow was lost to our family.
