This beautiful vintage Persian Gabbeh tribal rug is a wonderfully expressive example of nomadic weaving. Its deep charcoal and warm rust chequered field is arranged with two vertical rows of bold geometric medallions, outlined in lively shades of ochre, orange, green and ivory. The softly irregular forms, naturally aged colours and thick, tactile wool pile give the piece an unmistakable handmade character. Rich in warmth and rustic charm, this distinctive Gabbeh brings a striking sense of tribal artistry to any interior.
