This exquisite vintage Persian Karajah runner is a beautiful example of traditional village weaving, hand-knotted from pure wool in an exceptionally long and slender format. Its rich madder-red field features a rhythmic sequence of bold geometric medallions, alternating between ivory star-shaped forms and angular motifs highlighted in soft blue, rust, olive and warm beige.

Small tribal symbols and stylised floral details fill the spaces between the medallions, giving the composition remarkable character and visual movement. A narrow dark border decorated with repeating rosettes frames the design, creating a dramatic contrast with the vibrant central field.

The naturally softened colours, subtle irregularities and gently aged wool pile give this one-of-a-kind runner an authentic vintage patina. Its skinny proportions make it ideal for a narrow hallway, a long passageway, or beside a kitchen island, bringing warmth, heritage, and distinctive Persian artistry to the space.
