A beautiful vintage Persian Lilihan, hand-knotted with a velvety wool pile on a sturdy cotton foundation. The design features a scalloped central medallion floating on an inky midnight-blue field, flanked by scrolling saz leaves and dense floral sprays that bloom into the spandrels. A rose-coral and moss border of rosettes and vine scrolls frames the composition with classic village charm.
The palette is refined yet lively, deep navy, salmon and blush, soft sage, walnut, and ivory with tasteful abrash that adds movement and age character. Even lower pile with scattered, well-blended wear gives it the relaxed elegance collectors love in Lilihan weavings. Equally at home grounding a living room or layered in a study, it’s a timeless example of the Arak region’s graceful florals and durable craftsmanship.
