This lovely Antique Tetex German Kuba Design, hook rug beautifully combines the bold tribal aesthetics of the Caucasian Kuba tradition with the exceptional craftsmanship for which the Tetex workshops are renowned. Handmade in richly saturated wool, the rug presents a striking midnight-blue field enlivened by an intricate arrangement of stylised palmettes, rosettes, and angular floral motifs arranged along a finely balanced vertical axis.

Graceful ivory latch-hook forms frame the central design, creating a captivating interplay between geometry and floral ornamentation. Vibrant shades of crimson, coral, turquoise, sage green, golden yellow, and soft ivory stand out dramatically against the deep indigo background, giving the piece remarkable depth and visual energy.
