This charming vintage Moroccan rug is a joyful expression of traditional tribal artistry, handwoven with a wonderfully warm and characterful presence. The golden ochre field is scattered with an enchanting collection of small geometric and symbolic motifs, including stylised animals, birds, floral forms, and abstract tribal symbols, giving the rug an almost storytelling quality.

At the centre, a bold geometric diamond motif creates a natural focal point, surrounded by freely arranged figures in deep green, burnt orange, rust, brown, and subtle red accents. A lively zigzag framework encloses the field, while the richly patterned outer border adds depth and definition to the composition.

Its slightly irregular drawing and spontaneous placement of motifs are part of its authentic handmade charm, reflecting the individuality and imagination of Moroccan weaving traditions. The pattern is pretty, and it works where I wanted to put it. But, but, it's very thin and scratchy, and full of a white powder. I expected far better for the price. It is not worth $374.00
