This beautiful vintage Tunisian native tapestry presents a captivating desert landscape with a wonderfully graphic, almost painterly quality. A luminous blue sky gradually softens toward the horizon, creating a striking backdrop for silhouetted palm trees, distant mountains and traditional whitewashed architecture. Two camels cross the foreground in deep charcoal tones, bringing movement and a distinctive North African character to the scene. Warm rust and earthy brown accents evoke the desert terrain, while turquoise, aqua and deep blue introduce a refreshing contrast throughout the composition. Finished with delicate fringed ends and subtle variations in the handwoven surface, this distinctive vintage Tunisian tapestry beautifully captures the atmosphere, landscape and traditional textile artistry of North Africa.

Very happy with my rug purchase

The rug was shipped out within the specified timeframe on the site. The colors extremely similar to the colors in the photo of the product on the website. It was well packaged. Looks great as a rug for my dining area. The free pillow covers they included with the rug were also a nice design and soft.

I have purchased from this company a few times and have been very pleased with each purchase. Some purchases have been for me personally and others have been for clients. I highly recommend Shop Vintage Rugs.

The pattern is pretty, and it works where I wanted to put it. But, but, it's very thin and scratchy, and full of a white powder. I expected far better for the price. It is not worth $374.00
