This lovely antique Baloch rug features a richly detailed tribal composition in warm earthy brown, rust and camel tones, enlivened by vivid turquoise, deep indigo and soft ivory accents. The central field is dominated by bold geometric diamond and lattice motifs, framed by multiple narrow borders filled with repeating angular symbols and small tribal devices. Decorative checkerboard panels and intricate geometric details add depth and character, while the flatwoven end sections and fringed edges highlight its traditional handmade construction. The naturally aged surface, softened pile and subtle irregularities give the rug a beautiful timeworn patina, making it a distinctive example of traditional Baloch weaving with strong graphic and tribal appeal.
