This extraordinary vintage Persian Shiraz rug displays the bold, expressive character typical of tribal weaving from the Fars region in southern Persia. The field is filled with a repeating arrangement of diamond-shaped medallions, each containing smaller geometric motifs that reflect the symbolic language of nomadic weavers. These stacked diamonds create a rhythmic tribal pattern that gives the rug a strong sense of movement and balance.

The warm camel and earthy brown tones dominate the composition, accented by darker walnut and subtle rust highlights. These natural, muted colours give the rug a beautifully aged appearance and a soft, antique character that works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

A narrow geometric border frames the field, decorated with small angular motifs that echo the central design's tribal aesthetic. The simple yet striking border provides structure while allowing the bold medallions in the field to remain the visual focus.
