This vintage Persian Karajeh wool rug is a striking example of northwest Persian tribal weaving, known for its bold geometry and lasting durability. The rug features a soft ivory field filled with a repeating grid of stylised floral medallions, woven in rich shades of madder red, indigo, forest green, and warm rust. The angular drawing and balanced layout are hallmarks of the Karajeh weaving tradition, giving the rug a strong yet harmonious presence.

A deep red border surrounds the field, decorated with classic geometric and rosette motifs that add structure and visual contrast.
