Vintage Afghan Kazak Rug 3'8" x 2'2"
I’m very pleased with the burgundy wool rug I recently purchased. Well made with an even pile and a handsome pattern, it’s a rug that’s soft underfoot, too.
In the early 1990’s, my wife I were obsessed with hand woven, vegetable dyed Turkish carpets from Azeri/Woven Legends. We spent so much time at ABC Carpet & Home in NYC, we became good friends with the head rug buyer!! We haven’t purchased a rug in years, but I found a wonderful Woven Legends carpet at Shopvintagerugs and bought myself an early birthday present. The rug was shipped from Pakistan on Monday, made its way to Dubai, then Boston, Memphis and finally arrived to us today. I couldn’t be happier!
