$1,755 $2,926

Size: 10.4 x 3.2 ft.

Origin: Turkey

Circa: 1950s

Material: Pure Wool

This exquisite antique Anatolian hallway runner is a vibrant celebration of tribal craftsmanship and bold geometric design. Handwoven from pure wool, it features a striking series of three large medallions in warm tones of burnt orange, terracotta, and deep brown, each surrounded by stylised floral motifs and stepped contours. The ivory inner border is delicately adorned with scattered rosettes and vine scrolls, adding a soft contrast to the saturated centre field. The outer border in crimson red ties the entire composition together with its traditional diamond and floral lattice pattern.

Perfect for a narrow space or corridor, this runner embodies the soul of Anatolian weaving, with its timeless, textural, and characterful design. Its warm palette and tribal charm make it a stunning statement piece for rustic, bohemian, or eclectic interiors.

Authentic vintage and antique Turkish rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to the handmade and preloved nature of these rugs, slight imperfections and flaws are not considered defects.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.

Our rugs are professionally cleaned.

It’s 1990 all over again!

In the early 1990’s, my wife I were obsessed with hand woven, vegetable dyed Turkish carpets from Azeri/Woven Legends. We spent so much time at ABC Carpet & Home in NYC, we became good friends with the head rug buyer!! We haven’t purchased a rug in years, but I found a wonderful Woven Legends carpet at Shopvintagerugs and bought myself an early birthday present. The rug was shipped from Pakistan on Monday, made its way to Dubai, then Boston, Memphis and finally arrived to us today. I couldn’t be happier!
