This vintage Persian Hamadan rug features a richly geometric design with a central medallion surrounded by stepped motifs, hooked forms, and symmetrical tribal patterns. Its earthy palette of terracotta red, taupe, brown, and soft neutrals is accented by deep green and dusty pink details, giving the rug a warm and time-softened character. The border is framed with angular star motifs and zig-zag guards, adding rhythm and structure to the composition. Woven in wool with the natural patina of age, it carries the durable texture and distinct artistry typical of traditional Hamadan craftsmanship, making it a beautifully expressive and historically rooted piece.
