This Silk Kaitag is an impeccable example of needle embroidery from Dagestan. The tradition of delicate needle embroidery by Dagestani artisans dates back to the 18th century. This vibrant yet bold Kaitag displays a formal medallion decorated with symbolic figures.
The diversity of prepossessing blues, greens, rust and gold enhance the design even further on this Silk masterpiece.

Authentic vintage and antique Armenian embroideries are handwoven with pure cocoon silk and natural dyes. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind.

Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to the handmade and preloved nature, slight imperfections and flaws are not defects.

My Grandmother from Finland's rug comes home
