This vintage Lahore Tabriz rug showcases the refined artistry of Pakistani craftsmanship, featuring an intricate floral medallion design in a delicate palette of soft beige, rose, olive green, and hints of gold. Inspired by the classical Persian Tabriz tradition, this rug is hand-knotted with fine wool, offering a dense weave and exceptional detailing that reflects the influence of Mughal aesthetics. Its symmetrical layout and graceful vines create a sense of harmony and sophistication, ideal for traditional, formal, or transitional interiors.

Authentic vintage Pakistani rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible. Due to the handmade and preloved nature of these rugs, slight imperfections and flaws are not considered defects.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.

Our rugs are professionally cleaned.

It’s 1990 all over again!

In the early 1990’s, my wife I were obsessed with hand woven, vegetable dyed Turkish carpets from Azeri/Woven Legends. We spent so much time at ABC Carpet & Home in NYC, we became good friends with the head rug buyer!! We haven’t purchased a rug in years, but I found a wonderful Woven Legends carpet at Shopvintagerugs and bought myself an early birthday present. The rug was shipped from Pakistan on Monday, made its way to Dubai, then Boston, Memphis and finally arrived to us today. I couldn’t be happier!
