This finely woven silk village landscape carpet has an intricate and involute design. An abundance of wildlife, exotic birds and villagers, can be seen all around this beautiful piece of art. Blue skies, mountains and farm homes with a spectacular arch bridge are attractively placed within the central borders, and winsome trees are featured all over.

The distinct main border displays disparate animals and exotic birds in each panel. Soft tones of gold, rust and greens are spread selectively to enhance this glorious carpet.

Authentic modern and revival Chinese rugs are hand-knotted with wool or silk. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind.

My Grandmother from Finland's rug comes home

I was overjoyed as was my family in the U.S. to find this long lost rya rug again. We loved it hanging on her farmhouse wall and when she died it somehow was lost to our family.
