Modern Anatolian hallway Kilim 10' x 3'

$515 $684

Size: 10 x 3 ft.

Origin: Afghanistan

Material: Pure Wool

This beautiful, modern Anatolian design woollen hallway kilim is a striking flat-woven piece that blends tradition with contemporary flair. Handwoven in pure wool, it features a bold series of hexagonal medallions running vertically through the centre, each filled with stylised motifs in earthy browns, deep greens, turquoise, crimson, and golden yellows. The medallions are framed by a lively, multicoloured border with wave-like and angular patterns, adding rhythm and energy to the design.

The vibrant palette, combined with the clean geometry, reflects the rich heritage of Anatolian weaving while adapting it to a modern aesthetic. Lightweight yet durable, this kilim is ideally suited for hallways, corridors, or entryways, making it both a practical and decorative accent. With its dynamic colours and strong tribal-inspired design, it brings warmth, character, and authenticity to any space.

Authentic modern and revival Afghan kilims are handwoven with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and one of a kind.

Pictures are taken in natural light to portray the most realistic colours possible.

Our kilims are professionally cleaned.

It’s 1990 all over again!

In the early 1990’s, my wife I were obsessed with hand woven, vegetable dyed Turkish carpets from Azeri/Woven Legends. We spent so much time at ABC Carpet & Home in NYC, we became good friends with the head rug buyer!! We haven’t purchased a rug in years, but I found a wonderful Woven Legends carpet at Shopvintagerugs and bought myself an early birthday present. The rug was shipped from Pakistan on Monday, made its way to Dubai, then Boston, Memphis and finally arrived to us today. I couldn’t be happier!
