This exquisite vintage Northwest Persian hallway runner rug is a striking example of regional tribal craftsmanship. Woven with rich character and precision, the design features a series of bold navy-blue diamond medallions running down the centre, each containing intricate floral rosettes and symbolic motifs in soft ivory, rust, and walnut tones.
Set against a warm camel-toned field, the medallions are flanked by angular leafy motifs and small birds or animal-like figures, adding a touch of whimsy and folklore. The borders are framed with classic Northwest Persian elements, zigzag and latch-hook patterns in contrasting shades of ivory, indigo, and burnt orange, adding rhythm and depth to the overall composition.
This runner's compact width and elongated form make it perfect for narrow spaces, such as hallways or entrances, bringing a blend of history, artistry, and bold elegance to the modern home.
Authentic vintage and antique Persian rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.
