This gorgeous antique Turkish Karapinar tribal rug is a striking example of Anatolian nomadic artistry, showcasing a bold geometric composition and vivid colour palette. Centred around a powerful stepped hexagonal medallion in ivory, blue, and red, the design features tribal motifs, latch-hook outlines, and angular extensions symbolising protection and fertility. Rich tones of terracotta, indigo, forest green, and sandy beige create dramatic contrasts. At the same time, the surrounding field and narrow border are adorned with traditional Karapinar elements such as stylised amulets and symbolic patterns. Woven from handspun wool and natural dyes, this rug embodies authentic Anatolian heritage and adds a vibrant, tribal character to any space.
Authentic vintage and antique Turkish rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.
