This vibrant vintage Baloch rug showcases the bold artistry and tribal heritage of the Baloch weaving tradition. The centrepiece is a stepped, geometric medallion in crimson red, filled with intricate motifs and surrounded by a deep charcoal-black field, creating a dramatic contrast. Stylised floral elements in shades of orange, saffron, and rust are woven into the corners and border, lending warmth and vibrancy to the composition.
The rug’s border features a series of meandering floral and vine patterns in fiery reds and golds, framed by inner and outer guard stripes that add structure and symmetry. Woven with handspun wool and natural dyes, this Baloch rug boasts a rich, earthy character and a tactile, slightly coarse texture that evokes its tribal origins.
Ideal as a statement piece, it brings depth, tradition, and a touch of rugged elegance to any space.
Authentic vintage and antique Baloch rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.
