This beautiful, signed antique Persian Kerman rug is a masterful representation of Persian garden symbolism and refined craftsmanship. The design features a stunning vase at the base, from which an intricately woven “tree of life” blossoms upward, filling the field with dense floral motifs in warm ivory, gold, and soft coral tones, set against a deep ruby-red backdrop.
The floral pattern is enclosed by a gracefully curving mihrab-shaped outline, alluding to a prayer niche, making it ideal for both decorative and spiritual settings. The elegant border in soft blue and cream frames the composition with scrolling vines, palmettes, and rosettes, creating a rich visual rhythm. At the top of the rug, a cartouche bears the signature of the weaver or workshop, a hallmark of pride and authenticity in Persian weaving tradition.
Hand-knotted in the historic weaving centre of Kerman, this rug is made from fine wool with a soft, luminous pile. Its timeless elegance and detailed artistry make it a prized collector’s piece, ideal for display or adding historic sophistication to a refined interior.
Authentic vintage and antique Persian rugs are hand-knotted with wool. Each one is an exceptional work of art and unique.

Our rugs are professionally restored, and the fringes secured, ensuring many more years of life. Additionally, we recommend using a rug pad with a grippy back to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles that may have occurred during shipping. Using a rug pad will also safeguard your carpet from deterioration and, therefore, extend the life of your rug.
